Friends, 

Welcome and thank you for coming today to our first General Assembly in this new Year.

Alam po ba ng lahat na may nominations ng officers na gaganapin ngayong umaga?

Sino dito ang excited? Itaas ang mga kamay.

Sino naman ang kinakabahan? Itaas ang mga kamay.

Sino ang inaantok?

Iba-iba talaga ang reaction ng bawa’t isa sa atin sa pagbabago. Ngunit di dapat tayo matakot. Bakit? Kasi nasa atin ang Diyos.

Emmanuel - God is with us!

The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord tomorrow marks the end of the Christmas Season. But for those of us who have devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist, EVERYDAY is Christmas in the hands of the Priest. Araw-araw na nagmimisa tayo, tuwing consecration, ang tinapay at alak nagiging dugo't katawan ni Hesukristo through the Holy Spirit and the words of Jesus Christ. Araw-araw naghihintay Siya na bisitahin natin Siya sa Day Chapel o kaya sa harap ng tabernakakulo.

Kasama natin Siya! There’s no reason to be afraid.

That is why we should not forget the one whom we are serving. It is our Lord Jesus Christ. Walang iba.

Kung ano man ang pagbabago na hinaharap natin lalo tayong manatili kay Hesus at kumapit sa Kanya. Kung tayo ay may mga bagong officers na, tulungan, mahalin at suportahan natin sila, at siyempre magpatuloy pa din tayo mag serve.

Ito ang kagandahan ng buhay parokya! Ang magandang pagsasama at pagmamahal sa bawa’t isa. Huwag natin kalimutan ito, at lagi natin itong ipaglaban. Let us protect fiercely the love that we have for one another. If it is lacking in us, then let us pray for it.

A million thanks from me, from us, are not enough for all that each of you have done, are still doing and will do for our parish. But God sees YOU, and nothing that you do will ever go to waste. Nothing.

That is why I invite you this year to increase your sense of community, your appreciation of sacrifice, and doing good. Be active in our monthly Holy Hour of Adoration, and Dawn Processions!

Mamaya po ibababa ni KStephen ang mga activities natin. Come! let us worship together! Everything becomes more meaningful and joyful when shared with others. Don’t you agree?

So I’m sharing with you my excitement!

As we go along our program today, be at peace. Sabi ni Pope Francis, “Let God surprise you!” Let us pray for the Holy Spirit to be our guide today.

Lord, Thy will be done.
