At the 1st Worship Ministry General Assembly in the Holy Family Main Church last January 11, 2025

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Maganda umaga sa inyong lahat. Thank you for attending the Worship Ministry General Assembly and for actively participating in the nomination and selection process for the HFP Ministry/Organization's new coordinators. Today, we embark on an important journey of discernment and commitment as we seek dedicated individuals who will lead our community in faith and service.

Let me remind everyone that our Parish, rich in diversity and united in spirit, relies on the invaluable contributions of each member. The call to serve is not merely a position of leadership; it is a sacred responsibility that requires a deep commitment to nurturing our faith, fostering community, and promoting the mission of the Church.

Some may have noticed that since I assumed the PPC leadership, we have worked tirelessly with our Parish Priest to institute changes geared toward professionalizing how we work, operate, serve, and deliver our services to our Parishioners. We have fine-tuned our Parish constitution by-laws and updated and enhanced our policies and guidelines to make them relevant to the changing environment of our Parish and community. These changes are necessary to adequately put proper structure and boundaries in place so that we can work effectively and seamlessly to achieve our vision and mission. Just like a riverbank (which serves as the river's boundary), it channels the flow of water in the right direction swiftly down the stream and to its eventual final destination. Hopefully, these boundaries(policies and guidelines) will enable us to swiftly and effectively execute the Church's plans, goals, and objectives.

As we proceed with this process, I encourage everyone to participate actively and prayerfully. Let us seek God's guidance, trusting He will lead us to those called to shepherd our Parish with wisdom, compassion, and humility. Together, let us honor our shared mission and embrace this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of our community.
